The Gardner Historical Museum was established to preserve the history of Gardner and the surrounding area. The Gardner Historical Museum is in the former home of Herman B. Foster, a proprietor with Arthur Bigelow of Bigelow-Foster Mercantile in downtown Gardner. It was built in 1893. The Gardner Historical Museum highlights the history, memorabilia, and artifacts of Gardner.
Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens
The 300-acre Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens is an educational, recreational and cultural resource for the Kansas City region.

The Celebration Park Sports Complex is an 83-acre park featuring baseball and soccer fields, concession stands, shelters and picnic areas, playgrounds, walking and jogging trails, a 10-acre lake, and large passive open areas for a variety of uses.

Gardner Greenway
The Gardner Greenway Corridor is fully accessible to the public and features a 1.6-mile walking trail. Special features include park benches, donated by Sprint, and a looped trail perfect for walking, jogging, bike riding, or rollerblading. The Gardner Greenway connects Winwood Park and Brookside Park.
Cedar Lake
Cedar Lake Park in Olathe, Kansas, features walking trails, a recreational lake, and different shelters for picnics and gatherings. Park amenities include volleyball courts, grills, and fire rings.
Gardner Aquatic Center
The Gardner Aquatic Center offers a clean and safe facility for the Southwest Johnson County community.
