Bulletin: Ingram’s ED Panel, BBQ Crawl Update, Kupperman Visit

Economic Development Special Report

Along with several other local economic development leaders, Greg Martinette recently participated in Ingram’s Magazine’s Greater Kansas City Economic Development Assembly. Insights from the assembly were used to develop the economic development report for the annual publication of Destination Kansas City. More than 100,000 Ingram’s subscribers, including executives from expansion-oriented businesses and site selection consultants throughout North America received the report.

In addition to participating in the economic development panel, the EDC placed an ad in Destination Kansas City to gain additional visibility for the region.

 BBQ Crawl & Consultant Tour

Southwest Johnson County EDC co-sponsored KCADC’s annual BBQ Crawl and Consultant Tour. Seven national site consulting firms with clients interested in the Kansas City region attended the event, including Cohn Reznick, Cushman & Wakefield, ESRP, Kate Monroe Consulting, Mohr Partners, True Partners Consulting and Site Selection Group.
