The City of Gardner and Grata Development announced a $200 million mixed-use development project. On 262 acres, the new development will include 455,000 square feet of retail, convenience store and office space, three hotels, a 50,000 square-foot retail anchor tenant and an estimated 367 single-family residences including 168 villas and 11 multi-family buildings containing 424 apartments.

The development was possible because the City of Gardner will fund the extension of water, sewer and electrical infrastructure through I-35. “The massive new mixed-use development at the southeast corner of 175th Street and I-35 will move Gardner forward and outward.” To read the full article in the KC Business Journal, click here.
