City Development Process

City of Gardner

The city of Gardner requires property for proposed developments to be annexed into the city before accessing city utility services or beginning the zoning and development review process. Unique land uses typically are approved through the Special Use Permit or Conditional Use Permit process. All properties within the city carry zoning district classifications that govern the use and development of the land.

For questions about development guidelines, including site plans and platting, property owners and developers can call Community Relations at 913-856-0913, or click here to be directed to the City’s development page.
